Spiritually Touched By God Himself

Let me say something: this story isn't for money or anything, it's 100% true... It happened to me at night on Friday, just as I was dozing off. I don't consider myself highly religious, although I would like to be.

My name is Jack. I'm pretty in-tune with nature and although I'm not religiously hard-wired, I consider myself pretty spiritual. Something happened to me on the 14th of Friday, 2010 that verified God actually existed. For years, I've questioned Gods existence. In my prayers, I recount saying all the time: God. Reveal yourself to me if you truly exist. And God did just that. As I was dozing off, (it was around 10:00), my heart started beating very awkwardly. This has never really happened to me before. I felt as though my spiritual body was moving. I got a vision of me falling downwards into a cylindrical abyss. IT was non-stop falling and it felt I was being drained down somewhere. Something convinced me this was totally out of the ordinary. I knew it was God. I called it off and said: God, I'm not ready to meet you yet, I'm just really tired. Then, I woke up in my normal state. I put my head on the pillow and closed my eyes. I said: Wow. God is that really you? I kinda' needed more proof. And then, the exact same thing happened. I fell down the same "cylindrical abyss". I called it off again and said: God, once again, I don't think I'm quite ready to meet you yet. I know it's you. Then... Everything returned back to normal.

I regret not having the balls to meet God. But I hope I'll fall back into this spiritual state very soon.

Point is this: Do what you love, live life to the fullest, believe in God, treat Mother Nature well and love your brother.

So yeah. My story. =)

When I first started on this spiritual path through an experience that I had I started out in the new age movement and was into meditation. One of the first things I did was to start out by saying that I wanted to see and know the truth. I stayed with that idea until I actually started drawing near to something, there were storm clouds that were starting to part and it was getting pretty scary. I'll tell you the truth dude, I left, I cut it off saying that I would be back. I found out through reading afterward that the experience of God is generally pretty terrifying.I'm not talking about the love and happiness stuff that I and many others have experienced, I am talking about approaching the throne of God. I think you need to be invited first. I had many many more experiences after that, none were as scary as that first one so don't be too upset with yourself. Read some of the OT prophets first experiences.

Why would this necessitate God's enclosure of his existence to you personally? God has access to all places and secrets - He personally can intercept your life, He is omnipotent and all-knowing, so how on earth did he feel the need to reveal himself to you based on the spheres of control that he possesses? Only the prophets required that kind of interaction with God.

Clearly you aren't aware of natural susceptibility to illusion and the fact that the brain can activate illusionary mechanisms upon the immediacy of sleep. I refuse to accept how this could be interpreted any other way.

God has always been there, it was just then that you chose to aknowledge the presence, scary way to envision it, but if that is what it took for you. I am sure if you find yourself in a quiet room and ask for God again, you will have a much more enjoyable experience!

I am repeatadly advised to live my life to the fullest, make the most of every gift we have been given, experience every desire you have ever held. Love unconditionally and be true to yourself, your family and the Divine
