He Is Damned Who Does His Name

I have noticed some dream stories on this site and I just had to tell you about the one I had that still resides in my head very vividly!

It was 1999 and my mates and myself starting talking about the end of the world and what would happen on new years eve that year.

Well as I'm writing this now you will know that nothing did happen.

But during that year I had a very vivid "end of the world" type Dream.

I was sitting inside a train coach. But there was no other part of the train connected on either side of me. Just one coach which had me in it only. It was sitting on a train track in the middle of what looked like a Desert.

Then suddenly out of nowhere the wind came hard and strong almost storm like.

I then looked out the coach window to my left and saw lightning bolts strike the air with such force that it made ripples in the air itself!

Then my attention was brought to the window on my right.

Out this window I could see the Sun Growing bigger... The feeling that made me think that the Sun was Dying. But very dramatically.

The wind was still howling very loudly during all of this.

Thats when the strangest thing happened next.

A very loud masculine voice boomed out of nowhere, and said exactly this:

"HE IS DAMNED WHO DOES HIS NAME"

Immediately after that I woke up. And another strange thing was that my ears were whistling. Whistling, the same way as if you were outside on a very windy day and just came inside from it... That kind of whistling.

I tried looking up the meaning for this and couldn't get a good enough explanation!

So hopefully if this gets posted, Someone out there has a better one or they have experienced the same kind of dream.

I would love to hear from anyone on this issue!

Just so you know I am not a Big religious person, meaning I don't really practice it as much as some.

I play my guitar more, put it that way.

Yes Aimee and all of You; Revelation 14.11; the whole of Revelation is in symbolic language. Like the Earth opening its mouth to hide the divigne child; where is the mouth of the Earth? Nobody burns forever screeming day and night. ❤

Wow you certainly know your Bible stuff I have to admit!:-)
Thanx for all the comments there!
"Mikesway" is a stage name I use while playing music that I write and perform.
It makes more sense when I am solo as I do my own thing when it comes to music... As for life, Id like to think that I do make my own choices, I do truely believe in the Freedom of Choice for all!:-)
My Main love is Music. Its the only ting I know I can do... Just like you guys with the whole Bible Gig ye got going in these comments.
I am just an average guy who discovered the TRUE meaning of life a while ago... And what I truely believe it is, is Happiness in any form you decide to use. You just cannot live life being completely miserable... Its just no way to be at all.:-)

Revelation 13: 16-17

He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to recieve a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or THE NAME OF THE BEAST, or the number of his name.

Mikesway,

I'm no saint. I'm just a little older now.

I had one of those kinds of dreams you described, only in my dream God was speaking to my family. I was 5 or 6 at the time.

God's voice was somehow in the lightning and thunder, there was no rain. I was the only one animated in my dream. My parents and brothers were standing looking out the window, not moving or speaking..., like statues.

The only words I could understand was my family's name followed by "something" about my family. I had no sense of danger or fear.

All this could be like, "at this time we see in part, know in part." Perhaps in the future I'll learn the meaning. Could be God planting the seed of a thought deep in my mind.

What could a 6 year old kid know, or do?

I'm in my fifties now. Maybe it will be revealed in the future. I don't worry about it. After all, what could a 56 year old man know, or do?

I will try to make better sense about my previous comments. I was focused on the train tracks, and the desert, and the voice. I missed the obvious. I thought you were on a train, and there should have been a train engine..., and for that matter, a caboose. (did I spell that right?)

Mike, is your User Name a way of saying that you are living life on your terms, on doing things your way? If that is true, a single Coach car makes sense. The message might make sense as well.

Jesus once said "I am the way, the truth and the life." There is more that follows, and I'm just going from memory. Sorry, that is all I can recall at the moment.

God is paying special attention to you at this time. I'm sure of that. I don't want to be a prophet of doom and gloom, but the warning might be something like, "Continue living your life without giving God his rightful place in your heart and mind, and you're going to get no where fast." There maybe a storm in your life that is already on its way. You don't have to face it alone.

There is a book in the Old Testament that is very special to me, the Book of Job. That book gives an account that reveals the character of God, Satan, Job, and the trials of life, and coming out the otherside of disaster better than the life you once had. In this book God ultimately confronts Job. You'll have to read the rest of it for yourself..., I sincerely hope you do. I am not judging you. I'm not even a judge. I'm just a pilgrim.

Hi Mikesway, I call the way religion paints God 'beardguy', the Bible forbids an image of God. Writing on the wall can be comming from people or God. If You found on God, anticipate on God, than you recognize after some -nice- homework if it is God'S 'voice'. Life is making choices with your free will, God gives hints. So life is an interesting adventure, also Your dream, You're right, it is not a normal dream, so You have some nice homework to do from which direction Your richness will come. ❤

To me it seems that in the train of Your life, there is richness for You if You seek the 'voice' of God (not beardguy) and not go by Your name but the name of the Allknowing Truth. Look for God'S writing on the wall. ❤

I hate to hear that you THINK that you are on a very low in your life but it can't be all that bad... Can it?
I mean tomorrow is another day and another chance to turn it all around!:-)
If the glove don't fit then go get another one that does.
You don't need any spiritual experience to show you a way to go about your life.
Trust me.;-)

My life seems to be at its lowest right now, it seems as if prayers are not working. I would give anything for a spiritual experience right now.

Hell Gregory,
On the Train issue, If you say that trains symbalise... "take you one place to another on a fixed path/track". Then my question would be why there was no engine to this train? I mean Train Coaches can't travel on their own.
Especially only one.
And as for the Voice. "it was definately talking to me. And it was like a warning. So I doubt Satan would warn me about anything nasty, if you know what I mean?:-)

Who do you think was speaking? Who was he speaking to?

When I think of the desert, I think of purification, trials, testing, tempting, something like Jesus' going to the desert before He began His ministry. There was John the Baptist..., didn't he spend some time in the desert, really "roughing it," sometime before he lost his head.

Trains obviously take you from one place to another, taking a "fixed" path/track. The fact that you were alone could suggest many things. I don't see any connection to "end of the world" type scenario.

The "warning?" "HE IS DAMNED WHO DOES HIS NAME," is a little confusing. Does "HIS NAME" mean "one's name?" Or the pronoun "HIS" could refer to Satan?

I'm mostly guessing on the warning message. Hope it helps.
