Spinning While Meditating

 

I am fairly new at meditating and try to do once a day but it happens maybe a couple of times a week. A few years ago I had an amazing experience while meditating. Minutes into it, I started swirling and spinning in multi-directions and speeds. It was the coolest and most amazing feeling I had ever felt. I felt as though I was talking telepathically to someone (I think my master guide but not sure) and I felt this most overwhelming sense of love/acceptance. It lasted for a few minutes and when I came out of my meditation I was sweating and crying from the joy/love and experience overload. It was so life changing that I have been trying to find others with similar experiences to share and when I meditate I hope for another one of these spinning sensations.

Since then, I have had a few similar spinning and floating in multi directions but not to the depths of the initial one. It was the most amazing experience and I would love to achieve it again-I know that there is connections beyond what I can see. I spoke with my friend who is a meditation guru and she suggested that I may be attempting-astral projection/OBE. I have read comments on these and not everything I experienced fits into those descriptions.

When I was meditating excessively, this started happening to me. I have seen people channeling that do it. I don't really pretend to know what it is. I do know that I am so open now I am seeing a shaman to close my field constantly since now things? Entities? Are jumping in and out like my body is a playground. I got on this sight to see how others deal with this. I saw your comment and that was how my experiences began. It doesn't mean yours will be the same but be careful what you open up. Yes you need to focus on balancing yourself out when meditating. You seem to have incredible energy about it already though and your moods are just right. I had an experience like this only I wasn't trying to leave my body, it was uring sleep and I got so scared that it felt a if my soul was trying very hard to cry... But now I know what to focus on. The spinning effect can be overwhelming for some but you seem to have your head in the right place.

Learn of the energy centres, or the chakra's which align the spinal column.
Balancing and aligning these chakras are very important, if they are not properly atuned you will experience much of what you are describing.
