Dragonflies and Spiritual Luck

The story takes place in my middle school on the date of September 11th, 2009. You might think that it can't be a day to have good luck on but, the story I am about to tell you is 100% true!

It started as any other September 11 at my middle school. We would have a ceremony to honor the people who died on that day. A lot of people would come to the ceremony like Moms, Dads, Grandparents, Cousins, Aunts, and etc. The High School band would come and play also. We did the same thing every year. About half way through the ceremony a bright, green, dragonfly landed right next to me. You are probably saying right now, "So what's the big deal? I see dragonflies all the time!"

Well I'm about to get to the fun part! After the ceremony we headed back to our class as usual. I would go to my 4th period class. Well when we were about to go to lunch I won two prizes! (We sometimes get prizes at the end of class but not all the time.) At that point I was thinking to myself Wow today is my lucky day but, the story gets even better!

Having a big lunch we went to math, then after math I went to this other class called CID. It was friday so we could have some free time! Well guess who who won 3 times in a row in that class? Yep it was me! I'm sorry don't need to brag or anything but, I was getting all the attention that day and, I knew why I had good luck. It was because of two things. 1. God was with me. 2. The dragonfly landed right next to me.

You know how I know that it was the dragonfly. It's because I heard that if you see a dragonfly it's good luck. Well that's the end of that story and I'll never will forget that day because, it proves to me that good luck exists no matter if you believe it or not.
