When I was 9 or 10, my mom, dad, sister and I were in church. It was during the choir time. I was never a singer, so I just looked around, kind of daydreaming. I don't remember why, but I looked up and above everyone's heads I saw a small gold orb floating above my section of seats. I stared at it and just couldn't stop.
Later that night, I told my mom about what I saw and she was amazed. She told my dad and they believe I might have seen God. My parents aren't very religious. Ever since then, I have been. Even when I was young, I would pray and talk to Him like a friend, and I still can. Whenever I needed something, He'd help me.
Like once, my friend and I were on our way to a water park. It was supposed to rain really hard and we were so nervous because we had been planning it for a long time. The whole sky was grey and it was raining. Her dad was saying how we were going to turn around soon. Then I held onto my cross and prayed so hard that it would stop and we could still go. Then right as I opened my eyes, it cleared up. The sun shone through the clouds right away like a miracle. Everyone was amazed. But I knew He did it for me.
Things like this has been happening ever since, and He just seems like a friend to me.
