Jesus Blessed Us In A Dream

I was having a real bad time at home and personally since I was a kid, my father was in jail, my sister was attacked and then turned to drugs and when I was about 16 I started to suffer from depression. My Brother has also tried to kill himself a number of times and I have twice. When I was 21 I started to drink a lot and start trouble when I was out with my friends. Then last January I had a dream. I was in a small room with two friends and noticed there was a demon watching me from the corner of the room but it never attacked me, then a window appered from nowhere and a man was looking in at me. Straight away I knew he was Jesus, I can't explain how I just did. His face was not like a face I had seen before, it looked porcelain and his teeth was so white. He looked disappointed with me. Then he looked at the demon and it was gone and then he looked at me, he never said nothing but I could tell he was'nt happy with me. When I woke up all I could think about was the Bible, then I remembered I had an old Testament in my house somewhere from when I was at school. Before this dream I made fun of people for reading the Bible and going to church. Since I have started reading it my life has changed for the better, my brother has got help for his problems and looks a lot happier with his life. Everytime I read it I get really emotional because I can now see what my life was like before. This is the first time I have talked about what I saw, I thought a lot about going to talk to my priest about it but was scared to. Then I thought this was a message from God to me, nobody else. What matters is that I believe and take notice of what God's showing me.

I was wondering if other people have seen Jesus in their dreams. I have been without a job for nine months. I lost my teaching job at a Catholic school because the parents expected me to give their children As and Bs. It is considered a perk for paying the tuition is what one parent told me. I was shocked to hear this comment. I had taken the job thinking the parents would expect their child to work hard and earn good grades. Any how, I told these parents I was catholic and refuse to break God's commandment and lie on the reportcards. The parents threatened to pull their children out of the school if I was not removed from my position; so I was fired.

Since this happened to me in November 2008; I have believed that God would take care of me. I follow his laws and therefore he won't let me down. So far every time my money is short I have had a check in my mailbox of money owed me. I have been waiting for God to show me what my purpose on earth is by me getting the job I am meant to have.

It is so hard trying to survive with no job. I so desperately need work and can't seem to get even an interview with this bad economy. I guess because I am so stressed out Jesus appeared to me. But it wasn't in a dream. Jesus had layed down beside me on my bed and put his arms around me. Just when he was about to get up I started to wake and asked him to stay longer and so he did. When I woke up again; he was not in my bed anymore. Ever since I saw Jesus, I can't seem to get it off my mind. Has he appeared to others like he did to me?

I had a dream last night. Jesus is going to heaven accompanied by an angel and saving some people from earth. I don't know the meaning of this...

it is the end of the age, yes the end. We were told of the end and that we would soon leave to meet the lord. The end is near. The end, for those in christ will be another beginning.

I had Jesus visit me in a dream on 4/3/06. He appeared as an ordinary person, not typical Jesus with robe/beard/long hair, wearing normal clothes. This man was in my dream leading a choir and out of nowhere turned to me and said, "we need to talk." Then at a different setting within my dream--inside a diner-- I saw the same man and he asked "matt, how are you doing?"... And we both walked outside. For some reason, I had this amazing feeling/presence like never before in a dream, never had I asked this in a dream but I felt compelled to ask, I said "are you Jesus?"... He said "yes I am." Walking by his side, we both walked through a brick wall, I didn't stop or hesitate, I trusted I'd be OK. We were now on an open field, and I asked if heaven, God etc. Was all true and he said "yes"...i immediately had a euphoric feeling, and shortly thereafter, I woke up. I've only shared this experience with family and trusted friends, I have yet to see or hear anything like my dream anywhere.

Interesting note: I looked up the date of my dream. It's believed that Jesus died on Friday either 4/7 age 30 or 4/3 age 33, from my research the latter (4/3) is more accepted as likely date of His death. I have not been visited by Jesus again in my dreams.

I'm no preacher, or a born again type, please take what you will from my story. If it provides comfort, hope, renewed faith, a smile, or whatever, in return I ask only that you treat others kindly regardless of who they are. Thank you

I had a dream a week ago about Jesus. I was sleeping in bed and he stood by my bed side talking to me. I didn't say anything back and I also don't remember what he said to me. What does this mean... I read on this post someone here had a similar dream. I was happy to have a face to face encounter with him but at the same time I was very speechless. But I remember being very clam and relax.

I had a dream last night that jesus was in my dream
And he spoke 2 me but I didn't say anything back I just gave him a hug and he gave me a hug.
He had some kind of light around like he was glowing in the dark after I gave jesus a hug he was gone
Strange dream huh.

I've had dreams like this. Often they are of times when I am in danger and Jesus saves me. I've never had one on a Holy Day though. You're lucky!

Thanks for sharing your dream! I've never had a dream like that on a spiritual holiday, at least that I can remember. But I have had him appear to me in a dream before. And I know what you mean when you say you never thought Jesus would appear in your dream, I never thought he would either, but it's made me feel great peace and love that he did. It really is a blessed thing when he makes himself known to us!
