Divine Embrace

My 15 year old daughter underwent a knee surgery this Monday (10/12/2012) for which I had to stay in the hospital for 3 days and could return home only on the 4th day. The day I returned home, I was very exhausted and in a confused state of mind. I have a daily prayer ritual in the evening after returning from office after sunset which I missed on the 3 days I was in hospital.

The 4th day I thought I would cut it short and chant each mantra only few times. I entered my puja room feeling very tired and even before I could light the lamp, an invisible being strongly hugged me and passed on the message to me, "I missed you, geeta!". I was pleasantly shocked and overwhelmed by this experience and felt a very loving and comforting sensation pass through my body. A strong energy passed through my whole being and my exhaustion vanished.

I wish someone would tell me who exactly was the invisible presence that I felt, though I strongly feel it was a messenger of God, or perhaps God himself. I found myself mentally conversing with this being, and I suddenly realised that it was HIM who was comforting my agitated mind when my daughter was undergoing operation. The op, which was scheduled for an hour took about 3.5 hours, but I did not panic. I felt this inner comforting voice telling me all was well.

Even before this experience, I have always felt a guiding inner voice telling me what to do in serious matters. When my son had inexplicable stomach pains 3 years back, this voice persuaded me to go for a sonography where a faulty left kidney was diagnosed. He underwent a surgery soon after and his kidney could be saved. Do I have a guardian angel in my house? I have had a few more such experiences.
